Eli Lilly and Company and Hims & Hers Health, Inc. announced a partnership on Nov. 6, 2026, to integrate FDA-approved obesity medications directly into the Hims & Hers telehealth platform. Under the agreement, patients can access Zepbound for $299 per month and Foundayo for $149 per month.

As part of the deal, Hims & Hers has committed to not compounding GLP-1 medications in the future. The company stated it has never previously offered compounded versions of Eli Lilly’s GLP-1 drugs. This shift follows a broader strategy by Hims & Hers to move its weight-loss business model toward FDA-approved branded treatments.

Previously, patients using the Hims & Hers platform who were prescribed these medications were required to leave the site to complete purchases through LillyDirect. Jillian Kight, a spokesperson for Hims & Hers, noted that the previous process created barriers to care, such as making it more difficult for providers to monitor side effects and requiring customers to manage multiple platforms.

Ilya Yuffa, executive vice president and president of Lilly USA and Global Customer Capabilities, stated that the partnership aims to meet patients where they already receive care. Hims & Hers CEO Andrew Dudum said the collaboration allows the company to provide more direct access to FDA-approved medicines.

Following the announcement, shares of Hims & Hers rallied, with reports indicating an increase of between 4.7% and 8% on Nov. 6. The company is scheduled to report its third-quarter earnings on Nov. 9, 2026.
