Not Journal US is the American edition of Not Journal, a digital journalism platform, available at notjournal.us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it. Because Not Journal operates in Brazil, it also follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

Data we collect

• Email address — only if you sign up for the newsletter. We use it to send you what you asked for.
• Browsing data — pages visited, reading time, where the visit came from and device type. Collected in aggregate to understand which topics interest our readers.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services needed to run the platform — the email provider that delivers the newsletter. Each of them handles data under its own policies.
