Editorial principles
- Facts come first. We have no ideological, partisan or political alignment. Our commitment is to data, evidence and verifiable information.
- News and opinion are kept separate. Opinion pieces are published as columns, with an identified author.
- Content and advertising are kept separate. Sponsored material is labeled as such and does not influence our coverage.
- Independence. We have no partnership or commercial ties with large business groups.
Corrections
Mistakes happen in every newsroom. When we find incorrect information, we fix the text and note the correction in the article itself, stating what changed and when.

Use of technology in our reporting
Not Journal uses automated tools to monitor sources, identify relevant stories and support the writing of factual content. Everything we publish goes through human editorial curation and approval, under the responsibility of the newsroom. Columns and analysis are written entirely by their authors.
