Prime Video released the official trailer on Friday for a new two-part documentary series focusing on the life of first lady Melania Trump. Titled "MELANIA, The Series," the production is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on Nov. 20, 2026, and will be available in more than 240 countries and territories.
The docuseries is divided into two episodes, titled "Family & Trust" and "Pride & Honor." It features the first lady as both the primary subject and an executive producer. The production team includes director Brett Ratner, executive producer Marc Beckman, and producer Fernando Sulichin, with involvement from Amazon MGM Studios, Muse Films, New Element Media, and RatPac Entertainment.
This project serves as a follow-up to a previous documentary film released in theaters in January 2026. In a September 2026 interview on Fox News, the first lady described the new series as a "one-on-one" conversation that differs from the earlier film. She noted that the filming process involved answering private questions that have not been heard before.
The series covers her life and work, including the period following the 2025 presidential inauguration. In the trailer, the first lady discusses her roles as a mother, wife, and first lady, stating that her husband remains her priority. She also comments on the nature of proximity to power, describing it as potentially dangerous.
