American Housing Corporation has launched a dedicated homebuilding division in Austin, Texas, focused on the production of prefabricated urban rowhomes. The company is implementing an infill strategy that utilizes industrial manufacturing techniques to address housing shortages.
To lead the new division, the company has appointed three industry veterans. Parker Scott, formerly a division president at LGI Homes, will serve as general manager. Daniel Green, who held senior roles at Homebound, ATCO Structures, and Perry Homes, joins as director of construction operations. Luke Allen, previously with Lennar and Ashton Woods, has been named director of land.
The division is supported by a 250,000-square-foot manufacturing plant currently under construction in Southeast Austin. Once operational, the facility is expected to produce up to 1,200 homes annually. In October 2026, the company completed its second prototype, known as Demo 2, which utilizes a componentized building system of structural panels and modules.
The launch of the Austin division coincides with a broader restructuring of the company's real estate operations. As part of this transition, co-founder Bobby Fijan has departed the organization. The company continues to be led by co-founders Riley Meik, Will Davis, and Harris Rothaermel.
