Author Sarah J. Maas and her husband, Josh Wasserman, purchased a Tudor-style mansion in Haverford, Pennsylvania, in 2018 for $3.3 million. The transaction took place three years after the publication of the first installment in her popular A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

The 8,000-square-foot property sits on 0.9 acres and includes seven bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Additional features of the estate include a chef’s kitchen, a custom-built wine cellar, and a swimming pool.

The family resided in the Haverford home until 2020, when they relocated to Los Angeles. This move prompted speculation regarding the author's potential involvement in a television adaptation of her work. Following their departure, the Pennsylvania property was sold in 2021 for nearly $4 million.

Maas, who has seen over 75 million copies of her books sold globally, has previously credited her husband for his support throughout her career. In a 2024 interview, she noted that her partner has remained a constant presence since they met as teenagers, describing him as someone who is not threatened by her professional success.
