Calley Means, a former senior adviser to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and a prominent figure in the Make America Healthy Again movement, has publicly alleged that senior White House officials are prioritizing corporate interests over public health initiatives.
Means resigned from his position within the Trump administration on Oct. 22, 2026. His departure followed a period of reported friction with other administration officials regarding the implementation of food and health policy goals, including the regulation of ultraprocessed foods and restrictions on glyphosate.
In his interview, Means stated that a concentrated group within the administration is acting against the interests of voters to enrich their families. He added that he believes Americans are being misled by the current direction of policy, asserting that the public is being duped and lied to.
