President Donald Trump has publicly extended an offer to Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White to serve as the White House press secretary. The president announced the proposal on Saturday via Truth Social, where he also requested that White bring six UFC fighters to serve as assistants to help defend the administration.

White, who is currently managing his responsibilities at the UFC, addressed the offer during a news conference in London. He confirmed that he is traveling to Washington, D.C., to meet with the president on Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, to discuss the matter further.

Regarding the prospect of balancing the potential government role with his existing professional duties, White noted that he currently holds multiple positions. The White House press secretary role is currently vacant following the departure of Karoline Leavitt and the brief tenure of Katie Zacharia.
