CrowdStrike unveiled a new technology on Nov. 3, 2026, designed to identify and neutralize autonomous artificial intelligence agents that behave unexpectedly within enterprise networks. The feature, integrated into the company's Falcon Guardian platform, allows security teams to terminate misbehaving agents, block their network access and prevent them from restarting.

The announcement was made at the company's Fal.Con Europe conference. During an appearance on CNBC's Mad Money on the same day, CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz stated that while many organizations are developing AI agents, they previously lacked a mechanism to deactivate them. Kurtz noted that the technology provides the capability to ensure agents operate according to their instructions.

In addition to the new security feature, CrowdStrike announced plans to acquire two AI-security firms, Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, for approximately $495 million. These acquisitions are expected to conclude in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.

CrowdStrike is also expanding its security ecosystem through partnerships with companies including Anthropic and AWS. According to Kurtz, the development of these security controls represents a significant market opportunity for the company as businesses continue to deploy autonomous AI agents.
