Brett Schulman, the co-founder and CEO of Cava, recently shared insights into his daily professional and personal habits in an essay published by Business Insider on Nov. 4, 2026. The piece, part of the publication's Power Hours series, outlines how the Washington, D.C.-based executive manages his time and responsibilities.

Schulman, 54, emphasizes a commitment to punctuality and maintains a structured schedule that balances his duties at the restaurant chain with his family life. A notable aspect of his routine includes working shifts directly in Cava restaurants to stay connected to the company's operations.

Before his tenure at Cava, which began in 2009 at the invitation of co-founders Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Dimitri Moshovitis, Schulman worked in corporate finance and assisted in the development of Snikiddy, a natural snack food company. His current routine reflects a transition from those earlier roles to leading the restaurant group, which became a public company in 2023.

The publication of the essay coincides with a scheduled earnings call for Cava Group, Inc. on Nov. 4, 2026.
