The Oregon-based developer of humanoid robots, Agility Robotics, is set to begin trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, under the ticker symbol AGLT. The company completed its business combination with the special purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp XI on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026.
Shareholders of Churchill Capital Corp XI approved the merger on Nov. 2, 2026, with more than 84% of the votes cast in favor of the transaction. The deal provides Agility Robotics with approximately $465 million in gross capital before expenses. This funding includes $164 million from the SPAC's trust account, $201 million from a private investment in public equity led by Foxconn, and $100 million in previously received equity funding.
The merger values the existing equity of the Salem-based company at approximately $2.5 billion. Agility Robotics is known for its flagship robot, Digit, which is designed to perform repetitive tasks in manufacturing, logistics, and distribution environments.
As the first U.S. publicly listed pure-play humanoid robotics company with active commercial deployments, the firm faces scrutiny regarding its path to scalable profitability. In 2025, the company reported $1.8 million in revenue and a net loss of $138.1 million.
Peggy Johnson, CEO of Agility Robotics, stated that the company's position as a first mover will allow it to establish industry metrics regarding customer needs for humanoid technology. Michael Klein, a former Citigroup executive, led the SPAC vehicle that facilitated the public listing.
