President Donald Trump visited the construction site of a new White House ballroom on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, to observe progress on the project. The event, which lasted nearly 20 minutes, featured the installation of a beam that the President signed.
The ongoing project involves the construction of a 90,000-square-foot ballroom valued at $400 million. During the appearance, President Trump described the structure as one of the largest and most beautiful ballrooms in the world.
Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum also attended the event, characterizing the day as one of celebration and gratitude while referring to the President as the builder-in-chief.
Construction on the site continues following a Supreme Court decision on Aug. 31, 2026, which allowed work to proceed while legal challenges regarding the necessity of congressional approval remain pending.
